SURVEYING YOU CAN TRUST
When considering the purchase of a property, ensuring that you make a sound investment is crucial. For this reason, we highly recommend commissioning a professional survey. Given that this may be the most significant financial decision you make in your lifetime, selecting an independent surveyor is essential for obtaining a high-quality assessment with a turnaround of five to seven days, not a 24-hour generated document. Our surveys are not only informative but also deliver excellent value for money compared with the standard cheaper options offered on comparison websites and I only do two surveys a week, not a day, so you are guaranteed a thorough survey with no distractions or time limits.
Choose a surveyor with comprehensive equipment, including a pole camera, and verified qualifications. This ensures all areas, especially hard-to-see ones like roofs and chimneys, are thoroughly inspected in the first visit, reducing the risk of missed issues and additional costs for follow-up investigations.
The downside of not checking your surveyor are
- May lead to incomplete inspections if the surveyor lacks specialized equipment, resulting in additional costs for further investigations.
- Relying solely on basic equipment like a moisture meter may overlook other issues, reducing the survey’s comprehensiveness.
- Lack of a pole camera or similar tools can prevent inspection of hard-to-see areas such as roofs and chimneys, compromising the accuracy of the survey.
- Missing critical areas during the initial survey can necessitate a second inspection, increasing time and expense.
- Overlooking inspection tools or techniques might lead to an underestimation of potential issues, affecting decision-making.
- Overemphasis on qualifications without considering actual equipment or inspection capabilities may result in inadequate assessments.
These are things that are generally not discussed when choosing a Surveyor and make sure who you are getting the qualified surveyor you have been allocated.
We provide comprehensive and meticulous surveys that include a minimum of 30 photographs to clearly document any identified issues. Additionally, we take the initiative to inspect all accessible windows and doors, as well as roof surfaces, to ensure a thorough evaluation. Our standard practice involves the use of specialized equipment, some not normally used in general surveys, such as pole cameras and thermal imaging technology (this is not an inclusive list), and we are dedicated to presenting clear and concise information, avoiding technical jargon.
We have the necessary equipment to conduct comprehensive damp analysis and moisture migration assessments in our reports, available upon request. This is a specialized area that may require permission from the vendor in certain circumstances. This does involve extra costs if included in a standard L2 or L3 survey.
Our terms and conditions will be provided electronically. Before the survey, we will address any concerns you may have regarding the property and incorporate them into the final report. We will manage all communications with the estate agent or vendor
